Survival

In Survival, gather resources to survive and thrive while contending with hunger and hostile mobs.

How to Play (Desktop)

• Press E to open your inventory and Q to drop an item.
• Mine and gather resources to craft tools, armor, and food.
• Eat food to keep your hunger meter from depleting your health.
• Defeat or evade mobs that spawn in the world.

Spawn Protection

Unarmed players cannot be attacked by other players on protected ground:

• The spawn area — the land around the world spawn, where new arrivals stand up with nothing.
• Pylon claims — the land claimed by another player’s Pylon. A claim also shelters the animals living in it: only the Pylon’s owner may harm a creature standing there, wherever it wandered in from.

Protected ground shelters someone going about their business — it is not a safe room to fight from. The shelter is forfeited two ways, both visible to the other player before they swing:

• Holding a weapon. Draw a sword, bow, or gun and you may be attacked wherever you stand; put it away and the shelter comes straight back.
• Recently fighting. Hurting another player leaves you attackable for 30 seconds — only 5 seconds while standing in your own Pylon’s claim, so fighting off an intruder doesn’t cost you your peace at home.

Wild creatures don’t read deeds: mobs and animals still attack on protected ground, including inside a Pylon claim — walls are what keep them out.

How to Win

There is no fixed end — survive as long as you can, accumulate rare resources, and build a base that will outlast the next wave of mobs.
