One Vox
One Vox
One Vox is a grinding mode built around a single block. Your game plays out on your own small platform floating in the void, where one block sits waiting to be mined — and the moment you mine it, another takes its place.
How to Play (Desktop)
- You start on a 5×5 platform holding one block. LMB to mine it.
- Every block you mine is replaced immediately, so the supply never runs out.
- Sell your haul to build up a balance — your balance is your score.
- Mind the edge: the platform floats over a void, and falling off is fatal.
The Serial Block
- Each replacement is drawn from a category flavored by a biome — grass and hills to begin with, then ores, basics, and rare loot containers.
- Every draw has a small chance of wandering into another biome entirely: snow, desert, jungle, the underworld, or high-tech.
- Keep mining and the categories keep turning over, so the blocks you see are a record of how far you have come.
Your Plot and the Lobby
- A portal beside your platform leads to the public lobby, a flat arena holding a 5×5 grid of plots — one per player, each with a labeled portal back to its owner.
- You may build only inside your own plot; everything outside it is read-only, and portal blocks cannot be broken.
- Your plot, your platform, and your inventory all persist. Leave and come back and you reclaim them.
- When the grid fills up, the plot abandoned longest is recycled to make room.
There are no mobs or animals in One Vox, and you keep your items when you die. There is no win condition — you are playing against the size of your own balance.
